Sisters In Sobriety creates a strong and supportive environment to assist women in constructing their personal Bridge to Change and overcome interpersonal struggles and barriers to success. The multidisciplinary staff strives to create a positive and welcoming environment that assists in promoting healthy, safe, and productive lifestyles for women 18 years of age or older with a diagnosis of chemical dependency. Sisters In Sobriety aims to empower women and their families to believe in their ability to live and maintain a sober lifestyle and assist in the development of the necessary tools to successfully reintegrate into their supportive communities.
The multifaceted holistic approach to services utilized in the Sisters In Sobriety program, including professional therapy, peer support, family therapy, education and vocational training, and the incorporation of 12-step programs, encourages clients to develop an individualized treatment plan that yields the highest personal success upon leaving the program. Support services such as assisting with job searches, vocational assessments, job and life skills training, and referral to Adult Education classes are offered to all Salvita residents.
