Civil Citation Network

Civil Citation is a pre-arrest diversion program for first time misdemeanor offenders that aims to reduce recidivism, help ensure public safety, uphold victim rights, and hold offenders accountable without the long term negative consequences of an arrest record.

Both programs are cooperative efforts between the Chief Judge, State Attorney and the Public Defender for the Second Judicial Circuit; as well as the Leon County Commission, Leon County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Tallahassee Commission and Tallahassee Police Department.
