Mary Zalendonis

JDAP Regional Program Director

Graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology and a Master’s of Science Degree in Counseling from Troy State University. Ms. Zaledonis has been with DISC Village since 2014 and is the JDAP Regional Program Director covering 16 counties from Pensacola to Tallahassee. She has worked in both residential and community base settings serving at-risk youth throughout her career.

The JDAP program works to divert youth from entering the Juvenile Justice system by providing case management services to meet their needs. JDAP interviews each youth and family to assess risk factors and works with the youth and family to decrease the risks and increase coping skills, support systems and/or other goals.

JDAP is a great place to work because it offers the opportunity to help the youth and families to be diverted from the Juvenile Justice system.
