Karen Guilbeaux

DISC Adolescent Supervisor

Graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Rehabilitative Services. Ms. Gilbeaux has been with DISC Village since 2011 and has worked with substance abuse and mental health clients for over 20 years. DISC Adolescent Treatment Center is a residential treatment program that provides a comprehensive array of services to address the substance abuse and/or behavioral health issues of adolescent males.

 

DISC Adolescent is a therapeutic community that provides clinical assessment; treatment planning; case management; individual counseling; group therapy; life skills classes; and discharge planning. Support services include vocational assessment and vocational planning classes.

About DISC Village

DISC Village, a non-profit community-based agency, has been in operation for nearly 40 years and is one of the largest and most comprehensive prevention, intervention and treatment agencies in Florida. Through the years, DISC Village has become recognized as a leader in the state for initiating, managing, and coordinating delinquency and substance abuse prevention/intervention programs in Leon County and North Florida.

The agency grew from a Drug Information Service Center located on the grounds of Florida State University.
